Subjects Taught

I graduated from Tusculum College in 2010 with my Bachelor's Degree in Human Growth & Learning, K-6. In 2015 I earned my Master's degree in school counseling through the University of West Alabama.

This will begin my sixth year in the classroom and my third year teaching kindergarten.

I am originally from Macon, Georgia, and grew up in Sevierville, Tennessee, (near the Great Smoky Mountains) where I graduated from Gatlinburg Pittman High School.  I attended Tusculum College located in Greeneville, Tennessee, to pursue my degree in teaching. This is my sixth year of teaching, and I feel so fortunate to have been given the opportunity to teach in Dale County!

I love spending time with family and friends, the beach, decorating, painting, antiques, anything artsy, and my furbabies - Izzie & Sadie May.

I believe all students have the ability to learn and be successful in the classroom, and I make it my mission daily to use a variety of methods when teaching so that all students will be actively engaged in learning.  I strive to make learning enjoyable for my students, and do my best every day to make this happen.

I am looking forward to another great year!
