I have been in the Dale County School all of my life or at least since I was 6 years old. I attended Midland City Elementary as a child and loved it and have stayed forever! LOL  

I believe in many things but first of all I believe in Jesus Christ! I also believe in children. I believe that all children can learn, maybe not as fast or as much as everyone else but they CAN LEARN! I believe – Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day!

I love children and through the years, I have been blessed to have touched the lives of hundreds of them who have crossed my path at school and working with the youth at my church.

I married my elementary school sweetheart! And we are still married and remain friends! LOL We have no children of our own but we have shared in the lives of hundreds. Our only child have four legs and runs our household most days.

I am the Reading Specialist at MCES and before that I taught third grade for 26 years. I have had the pleasure of working for 9 principals.

I love to dress up like a clown and did so professionally for several years. I have also been know to dress up like a gorilla, the Cat in the Hat, an AU fan and the Easter Bunny to name a few. I also love Auburn football (War Eagle).
